Anurag Kashyap’s reply to Anubhav Sinha praising his film Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai shall tickle your funny bone
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s film Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai hit the OTT platform, Netflix today and a tale based on demonetization is highly relatable. Starring Saiyami Kher, Amruta Subhash, Roshan Mathew and Rajshri Deshpande, is already garnering praises from the audience. Joining the league of the ones praising the film is filmmaker Anubhav Sinha as well. The Thappad director also showered praises on Anurag Kashyap and the film cast for putting up marvellous performances. But usually known to be innovative with his replies Anurag’s reply to the compliment from Sinha, just cracked us up.
Anubhav complimenting the film mentioned that Anurag always reinvented himself which is a delight to watch and it reflects in his work too. Sinha tweeted, “कश्यप की CHOKED आ गयी है भाई NETFLIX पे आज। This guy just doesn’t stop reinventing himself. It’s such a fun ride. And the actors are the next level. All of them. @SaiyamiKherIs so good. @anuragkashyap72@NetflixIndia” To which instead of a plain thank you, Anurag replied about how he feels when the filmmaker praises him. Anurag replied, “Thank you sir .. आप मेरी तारीफ़ करते हो तो nepotism लगता है ।“
